A couple of years ago, this endangered loggerhead found itself too far north in Rhode Island. With the disastrous Horizon oil spill, they are are in even more danger of becoming extinct.
With an 80 mile "kill" zone, and evidence of oil still being found on the sea floor, marine animals are dying at twice the "normal" rate.
How quickly we forget!
