    Thanks, Robert! I took this shots yesterday on Dead Sea near Ein-Gedi National Reserve. This is not tamed animal in wild. Because ibex has no natural predators in this area and hunting is strictly prohibited, the animals are not fearful. My tactic is to stay on open space and slowly and quitly approach with camera on eye level. I never try to hide or sneak, because ibex has exceptional senses and can see/hear/smell a human from miles. Sneaking or hiding is predatory behavior and can scare it away. If you are patient, you can approach to 10 - 7 meters and take many shots. The ony one thing need to remember: If ibexes are on a rock just above you - never try to climbe towards them. When bothered, the clever creatures will roll stones down on your head!

    Those are some serious horns! A gorgeous animal.....An excellent shot! I admire your patience and knowing this species well enough in order to get a shot like this.
