Bethesda Terrace Arcade was created in the 1860s as a part of Central Park’s main formal architectural feature. A grand staircase leads you under the road into the Arcade which leads to the Bethesda Fountain. The highlight of the Arcade is the magnificent Minton Tile ceiling.

Actually if you're a friend of Dr. Who, this location was used on last nights episode where the little weeping angel touched Rory the first time when he went for coffee....
