Converting this original colour shot, then saturating and boosting it stripped away the visual distractions and presented the 'mood' ... grandson preparing dinner for the family in his (first) kitchen.

the overlighting allows the eye to focus so well on the face---I'd call it The Pants, The Pot, and the Puss---together they form a nice visual tour of the whole comp
