The Blue Angels were in town this weekend. This is a special treat being an air force city. The Thunderbirds usually do our shows. Being a Navy brat, I am a loyal Blue Angels fan.

Stunning capture, Regenia. I love watching the Angels and the T-Birds perform. When I worked at Nellis AFB, the Blue Angels would come out and practice over the base....work stopped for a few moments while we watched them. 'Course we were always loyal to the Thunderbirds. :)) You did a fabulous job with this one!!!!

What great fstop control, my daughter recently got out of the Navy, she was a firecontrolman, others would say she shot the sea wiz ( gattlin gun)

Wow! Looks like they are about to crash into each other. I've seen these guys perform in person several times. They go so fast it's hard to tell how close they actually get to each other, but this really shows how percise they have to be. They are so awesome!!!

Fantastic shot, perfect timing to get them like this in the fraction of a second they take to pass. I was stationed at the winter home of the Blue Angels for several years, what a treat to watch them work on their performance and see the new team members adapt to the team. They are all top-notch pilots before becoming part of the team, so that is the 'easy' part. I still love watching them (any of the U.S. or Canadian military flight demo teams) perform. Thanks for the great shot of (naturally) the Best of the lot. (disclaimer - I'm retired Navy ;-) )
