Drzl and I spent a lot of time in the woods this afternoon. She decided to take a short rest, and I found her here among the dandelions. Her left ear is flipped back. I guess she wanted to air it out.

@ Kathryn, she is one half greyhound and one half Ridgeback. She has the personality of both breeds. She's a very friendly dog, but is protective of her family until we assure her the person is "okay." She always barks to warn us if someone is coming up our lane in the wood. :) I'd love to see your male Ridgie!!
