The horned grebes have been back for a week now, but I have waited to get photos until they had time to settle in. Today when I went over to the pond they came swimming right over to me. It was a joyful reunion. This is their third year on the pond, having successfully hatched in both of the previous years..

    I have never seen Horned Grebes, they are very pretty. I was amazed that they came swimming over to you for a reunion. That is so awesome!!!
