This is not the best photo and it was difficult to get. It was getting windy and the day was heating up fast. I had to lean in between some other roses so turned the camera to a vertical shot. I know that it is a bit blown out, yet there is something about it that I really like. I got one more rose shot in when it got so hot that both Michele Wambaugh and I felt sick, a sign of a possible heat stroke so we headed for a cooler place, which did not help much so we left and went home.

The color is very pretty...It reminds me of cotton candy..It is difficult to shoot pictures of flowers when it is windy and hot...We've been getting lots and lots of rain...

The color is so beautiful, and I know how tough it is to capture flower shots in the wind! I'm also a bit envious of your heat......it's 11am, and 39 degrees here!! But your heat sounds like it was a little too much--glad you both got out of it and went to a cooler place!!
