In our town, there are a few independent elderly folks who don't want to have to depend on family members or public transportation to get from place to place. Some take the matter into their own hands and use a motorized cart, such as this little lady is using. I use this lane for part of my daily walks and she often passes by. When I remarked about how brave she was, she replied, "I'm desperate!"

One answer: strong sad, but her determination is great to be appreciated, and your photo that shows this is actually a life lesson.

Where I live, there are several young people using motorized vehicles, and one young girl always has the biggest smile and such joy on her face. Don, nice capture.

it is admirable when an elderly person is motivated enough to use a motorized cart...She's getting her fresh air and she is not sitting alone by herself at home feeling sorry for herself...

Excellent portrayal of how many elderly could be out and about if they had a cart and proper motivation to do so!!! I really admire this lady, and only hope I will remain as active and determined as she obviously is. A fantastic portrait, Don!!!!
