An old photo I took with a disposable camera in April of 2000.
Commissioned by the President of France François Mitterrand in 1984, designed by the architect I. M. Pei, and opened to the public in 1989, the Pyramide du Louvre was very controversial when it opened, but then so was the Eiffel Tower and the Parisians seem to like it well enough today.

Amazing what the point and shoot disposable cameras are capable of..It looks like it was shot with an expensive top of the notch camera...Perfect entry...There are even triangles on the walkway.
