Black Witch Moth (Ascalapha odorata) - they fly into our house at night and they look like bats. It is considered a harbinger of death in Mexican and Caribbean folklore. This one landed on the ceiling of our living room. He is not as attractive as the female below. They have a wing spread of up to seven inches.
