Ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones ...
St. Luke 22: 30

The Baltimore Orioles
Migrate many a mile...
To stay a short while...
They are here on a loan;
In hopes they are able
To reach their throne
At Kingdom's table...

    Thank you all for the comments...Leslie, the oriole is eating grape jelly..He also likes oranges which we cut in half...This evening a squirrel jumped up on the feeder and took off running with the orange in his mouth...the stinker! I guess they like oranges too which they most likely think are falling from heaven just for them..LOL A split second after I shot this image, the oriole flew off the feeder ... they are always on alert and ever watchful.

    Susan, I think the squirrels would thank you for the suggestion of serving toast for their breakfast fare:)..A destructive creature of the night stopped by
    after dining hours last night and broke the jelly dish pictured here, chewing it up...Also it jumped on the humming bird feeder that we thought was securely fastened on a plant stand and knocked it on the ground breaking a good sized chunk off the top....Then ran off with the hook to hang it...It was my fault
    for not bringing these containers in the house when it got dark..But this will not stop me from the feeding the birds who give us so much pleasure.
