Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth...Psalm 115: 15
This young male Oriole is losing his old feathers now, but new ones are growing in and then he will look as bright and vibrant as the adult male..Today he chose to rest in the Olive tree when I shot this picture and he appeared relaxed and satisfied with his world.

Still looking gorgeous, though!! Lovely tones and lighting in this shot, too. You have an amazing series of bird images here, I enjoy them so much!

NICE!! I am certainly envious of your oriole shots. We just don't see many of those around here.

Thank you all for your kind words...Donald, we don't see that many orioles at one time here either...We am still waiting for the adult female to arrive and so far as I know there is only one adult male and a young male who is coming to the feeder as of now. .What they love to eat is grape jelly and a half an orange which should attract them....It amazes me how they find their way each May to our feeder and when the weather gets cold they are gone until next year..How do they remember the route and how do the new ones know where to go?
