If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

A few weeks ago, I found a sweet and beautiful puppy in the Walmart parking lot. Someone had dumped him. I brought him home, got him vetted, posted a few pictures of him and then found him an awesome forever home. I had been thinking about fostering and after discussing it with Shane, we decided to go for it. Hitch is my first official foster. He was in the Jones County Animal Shelter but will now stay with us until his forever home can be found. As you can see, he is a sweet Jack Russell terrier. He missed being put down by a few hours. Please check into adoption or fostering a sweet baby like this one.
I have been terribly busy with my photo shoots and driving back and forth to Savannah. I was trying to make nursing home arrangements for my father in law. We found him a great one very close to us and was looking forward to moving him here last week. Sadly, he passed away on Mother's Day. I want to thank you all for your sweet cards, email, text, phone calls...I can't tell you what your kindness has meant to Shane and I. I think I have most of Lee's business handled and we have one more trip to Savannah to pick up his ashes. Meanwhile, I am catching up on work. Please forgive me for being away again.
Thanks so much for the spotlight Jim!!
