I really like the way your organized and aligned these coins, Geoff. It is a very interesting photograph, and I love coin collecting too (although I have just a few nice coins.) I'm so glad you decided to share this collection with us!!

THANKS PATTY. Was out one Friday night having a drink in our local with my father and when i came to pay for the drinks I had a full set of old money coins in my pocket. It was still legal tender in the 70's. so i had them set in perspex as a paper weight. My grand mother gave my the farthing when I was a child saying to me keep this with you and you will never be "skint"(short of money) .She was true to her word

Not quite old enough to remember farthings but defo remember the rest of these pre-1971 coins. A nice collection interestingly photographed! (And, funnily enough, friends and I were only talking yesterday of a run up to Fleetwood, a place I have never been to despite having been brought up on the Fylde coast!)
