A quiet little byway in ancient Oxford, England. I knew this would be my Financial Focus entry after seeing Geoff Plant's entry about the changing British currency.
Traditionally a Penny Farthing was a bicycle with a giant front wheel and a small wheel behind, thus the name alluding to the coins. In Oxford, this can also be construed as a street name and/or the name of a pub.

A great take on the theme and an excellent entry. I have seen riders on the Penny Farthing bicycles and it never fails to fascinate me how they get on it and how it doesn't turn over at the low speeds that they are riding.

Oh, so fabulous, Don!!! I love everything about this street in Oxford. The brick with it's rustic look and textures, and the name on the sign. It's marvelous!!! How I would love to return to Britain....
