After a long hike, saving a boy's life, and sweeping the stoop, we come to the end of a day. Here, he says, the French did it right. And he serves a little plate of chocolate pieces and dark roast coffee. Let the coffee melt the chocolate on your tongue. With each taste the nightingales announce they are horny and want a date tonight. This is the beginning of our night...

Note: eucalyptus leaves in a bottle on my kitchen window. Simple. Small.
