Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

A tad of romance in the construction zone as the sun was going down. On the deck of the future guest house - currently a tent with wooden sides and steel roof. No hydro or running water.

Great photo and title. My husband was the general when we built our dream house. I learned the lingo. In this case, Tyvek. Not sure if that is what I'm seeing on the wall over there? Yes/no?

Yes it is! It is also wonderful stuff to work with for collage work ... the architect Tyvek envelopes take on the most imaginative shapes with a little heat. Wonderful textures under paint.
