I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest. Psalms 55: 6
May the bird with swift wings
Escape the winds that form
To find rest from the storm..
Oh the tempest it wrings....
Oft' with violent emotion...
O'er landscape and ocean...
Poetry by me AJP
I need to be totally honest, I have only been near an ocean once in my life and it was the Pacific Ocean in San Diego, California long ago when I was 16 years old.
Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera along with me...I remember the ocean was freezing to the touch and my late mother and I didn't stay there long.
This is a combined picture of wind swept storm clouds with a little bird in the sky over our driveway and a portion of water from a place called Twin Lakes that I shot on another day...It is my version of an ocean scene and believe me, I had to use my imagination to enter this challenge:)
Thank you so much Deborah Downes for your generous spotlight...
