One dismal night
With the ardors of love aflame
Unobserved I slipped away,
While my dwelling still unstirring lay.
In disguise of night
By the secret stair’s security
O venture bright!
Into the dark and stealthily
While my dwelling still unstirring lay.
This more luminously
Led me than the radiance of noon
Thence to where in waiting for me
One to me well known
Kept a place where no one had been drawn.
O that night that guided me
O night lovelier than the dawn
When Beloved and Lover joined,
Into Lover and Beloved transformed.

Thanks all. I appreciate your words and props. This is another mannequin shot through a window. The light on the left is a reflection and the softness and B&W was created in Lightroom.
