It's not always the early bird who gets the worm - or at least not in this case.
Yesterday evening around dinner time as we were sitting outside in the courtyard watching as the Cardinals & the Finches came for some seed, this was a surprise visitor that made it's way down in my garden to grab this worm and in a flicker he had flew back up to the fence, but he hung around there just long enough for me to get this shot!
