He knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust..Psalms 103: 14
I was experimenting with texture in overcast lighting on June 17th, before another storm hit.
(We woke up to yet another loud electrical storm this morning at 5:00 AM that jarred us out of bed..)
I took a notion to stand by this old wooden door, on Sunday ..I am not used to seeing myself with hardly any makeup, in a portrait, but this is who I am.. It was just a practice shot and decided to keep it..
In a strange way, the simplicity, void of pretense, reminded me of the Dust Bowl era, only without the drought:)
