He hath filled the hungry with good things...St. Luke 1: 53
This Red Squirrel came in pouring down rain yesterday early evening
to eat some soggy sunflower seeds. It was a difficult shot to focus
through the window in dim lighting and it was necessary to use a tripod.
I manually opened my aperture to F/6.3 with a shutter speed of 1/40, and ISO of 800.
We have had several electrical storms this past week but today it is cooler and
we have sunshine...A baby red squirrel came to our feeder this morning and it was tiny compared to its mama who is small also..I have made friends with its mother and she trusts me enough to now to bring her young one to the feeder...
A red squirrel won't let rain
Discourage or get her down,
She ignores the deafening sound
Of thunder clapping in her ear...
When she is hungry for good things
She has courage and not fear...
