Fire Ant bites!
If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.

I know, this isn't a pretty photo!!! Fire Ants are aggressive, vicious little ants. They get on you without you knowing it then they begin to bite and you feel like the bites are on fire. I try to avoid them but like the photo above shows, I don't always succeed.
Wikipedia's description of fire ants is:
Fire ants are aggressive stinging ants found most commonly in the southern United States. Almost everyone experiences some sort of reaction to a fire ant sting, the most common of which is a sterile pustule at the site of the sting. A large percentage of people experience a large amount of swelling, redness and itching around the site of the sting (these are called large local reactions). About 1% of people can experience severe allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis, as a result of a fire ant sting.
