It is believed that the earth gets her menstrual cycle in these three days (Raja festival) once in a year and it has to be celebrated by women of our state, Odisha, India. The Raja Mauja ( Raja festival ) is incomplete without special songs. But at the end of third day women feel sad and cry as the festival is going to end but with a hope it will come again in coming year.....Such event in a dramatic way displayed for all my JPG friends!!! -A great sharing event among the women.
I am grateful to Nancy Richard for spotlighting this shot.
