Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

This young squirrel comes in my yard every day looking for food. I started out putting black sunflower seeds on the ledge on the fence and the squirrel loves that! It scatters it and a lot falls to the ground, but birds find it quickly. I decided to try putting peanut butter in a dish and jelly in another and was surprised how many birds showed up wanting to eat the jelly and sunflower seeds, some even ate on the peanut butter. The squirrel at first scoffed at the peanut butter and jelly - until it saw the birds enjoying it then the squirrel came back and had peanut butter first and then went to the jelly dish and cleaned what was left out. They are so much fun to watch : )

A big thank you tonDavide Simone for the spotlight. I appreciate it a lot!

Tenacious is the word that comes to mind when I see squirrels. We have jillions of them since we live near a forest.
