The Houston Zoo is located in Hermann Park. The zoo has a nice aquarium, a great place to take photos in the summer as it is air conditioned : ). Michele Wambaugh and I will be doing several trips to the zoo during the summer. We can shoot in the various buildings that are air conditioned. There are many challenges shooting indoors in the zoo, reflections being the biggest challenge. There are lots of people around and we just work around them by going to other exhibits to shoot where no people are at. It changes fast, people are coming and going all day long. We were able to get the photos that we wanted to in the long run and had a very enjoyable day shooting together.
