Lachine, a city near Dorval had and has considerable problems with graffiti.
The city allowed graffity (part of the project against them) on two buildings and this is a detail from a huge mural.
Despite that they still have to spend a lot on cleaning.

The skeleton standing on its tiptoes playing the banjo looks happy:)...The artist who did this mural must have spent lots of time on it which is probably why the city left it up and removed others..Great entry..

We have virtually no graffiti in our little town, but I've seen cities whose beauty is ruined by it. What a marvelous idea to allow graffiti on certain buildings. Even though it is still a problem, I imagine it is less of a problem than it could be. Your photo is a wonderful theme entry!!
