On March 2,2012,a F-3 tornado touched down on my neighborhood in Ooltewah,Tn. This was the home of my friend Bernice, less than 200 yards from my house.Nine homes were destroyed and lives were changed in many ways. Each and every person in these homes were spared and there was only one minor injury. I entitled this photo Amazing Grace because that is exactly what it means to me and my neighbors.

So glad everyone was ok.. Very scary...for photojournalism a very good comp and entry. I always think of everybody and animals when I see this on the news. There by the grace of God, indeed

The impact to see this natural catastrophe in a photo taken by somebody you know is huge compared with what we see almost every day on the news. Sad and scary!

How sad to have this happening in your neighborhood, nature is so brutal at times. The title is perfect for this.
