Our long driveway totals a half mile to the end and back..My husband and I decided together we both needed to lose weight and change our diet, combined with exercise.
We've been power walking the last 3 mornings at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM in the evening. Our driveway is very hilly...For myself walking down hill isn't nearly as difficult as walking up and in the same token how easy it is to literally go down hill with one's health... My husband is 72 years old and I am 68 but keeping fit is very important at our age and at any age.
My husband who was walking ahead of me as I snapped this picture wants to lose about 10 to 13 lbs. He did weigh 160 but at the present he is 173 lbs.
I am ashamed to admit I've gained 20 lbs since January of 2010 and my goal weight to achieve and maintain is to weigh 120 lbs..As God is my witness..I am going to do it and I will succeed!
