Took this a while ago, during a stroll through Maymount Park. I do not like snakes at all, and they really get the cardio going. Who needs exercise with a fear like that ! Not even sure what kind it is, but it doesn't matter for me..... a SNAKE is still a SNAKE !!

Oh how pretty. I think it is a brown water snake. If it is, it won't hurt you. Great shot!

Snakes have been maligned since Adam and Eve. Good shot, anyway!

Great shot for the theme and Joyce is with you on the fear of snakes. I agree with the others, believe it is a brown water snake and harmless.

This snakey guy is keeping an eye on you, Betty as he is slithering away:) Great capture and entry....I think more than snakes, my phobia lean toward mice.. Found one that sneaked inside a pail of sunflower seeds that had the cover on and I almost touched it when I scooped in with a plastic glass to get seeds for the birds..I screamed bloody murder that probably could be heard by the neighbors..My husband carried the pail to the end of our driveway on our walk and released it...I never did take a picture of it...Ugh!!!
