Every time I see a hibiscus plant, I think of our sweet little neighbor lady that called them "hi-biscuit." Since reds are so difficult to get true color and exposure, I decided to capture this one at 8:00 AM. I like the results.

Beautiful!...My late mother used to have a red hibiscus in her window at the homeplace and it was such a joy to see it bloom in the middle of winter...
