Q: what happened to the themes and the challenges?

A: Do you know?

No Matter what your politics in the upcomming election.

Because of how polorized we have become the last few years.

I just though the bruning sky as a backdrop for the Flag was fitting.

Our country is more divided then ever!

The Middle East is on FIRE!!

Russia just launched their first nuclear missile test since the old Soviet Union?

And they want to reduce nuclear weapons with a new treaty after the election?

Iran is closer to a nuclear bomb and yes they have had successful missile tests.

How is that getting closer to a world without nuclear weapons??

Gas is around $3.80 a gallon. Four years ago $1.87.

The posted unemployment is 7.8% If you count those who stopped looking for work it is around 10% to 11%

College costs have gone up 25% in the last four years. Who's complainig about Big Greedy College?

Around 50% of new college grads are unemployed or underemployed ie: "Mc Donalds, Walmart"

America has put a person in prison for making a video . Free speach??

Then there is another person in prison in Iran that the US Govt. wants relaeased for making a video?? Figure that one out??

How many of you have wondered if you might be arrested for taking a photo of the wrong building or place. It happened to me. I was questioned and had my vechicle searched for taking photos of a Dam in Virginia. Maybe if it was a video I would have been arrested. After about 45 miniutes they let me go. One of those photos is posted on this website.

You must Vote because NO Vote is a Vote

This photo is unedited except for the Flag which was very under exposed in the origional.

Local Adjustments were used twice on the flag with increased exposure and with slight change in Hue and Lightness. to bring out the red and white. Also with small changes to Sharpness and Clarity .

There was no usable data in the blue.

Beautiful image! Very ominous looking, and understandably so. At least the flag is not burning....yet.

Very well done. I wonder what it would have looked like with the original underexposed flag. The silloutette could have been very powerful too.
