Ann Reece gave props (20 Jul 2012):
That's a lot of hummingbirds waiting for a turn at the feeders! I get birds on the high wires over our backyard, but they are mostly sparrows and mockingbirds, sometimes blue jays and cardinals.

I have an embarrassment of riches here in that I have five feeders with six feeding stations on each one and they are often all filled. I'm originally from the east coast of the U.S. (PA) and I've NEVER seen as many hummingbirds as I do here. There were actually more hummingbirds on the wires along my property waiting for their turn when I took this shot. I just couldn't get them all in the shot.
