I was trying to get the red begonias and fountain without their being over-exposed by the sun, but like the presence of the flare.

Sometimes a natural sun flare works better to enhance such as this than a filter that people buy for that purpose..Well done!

Fantastic shot, Don! I love the sun flare, especially the position where it is in the photo.....and those begonias are quite spectacular. An overall brilliant photograph by one of JPG's master photographers!!!!

The position of the sun would usually throw your subject into shadow. It has a beautiful effect here. A terrific shot!

Gorgeous, my friend. The flare is the perfect touch. Also love the lighting on the begonias and that pretty little tree.

Great effect, and love that the fountains are lit up as well! You need a small f-stop to get this effect, and f18 was just great!
