A statue and commemorative plaza for US President, Theodore Roosevelt, in a clearing on Roosevelt Island in the Potomac River at Washington, DC. The island is basically nature trails with a central memorial to "TR."

Didn't even know that that was there. Interesting......but Teddy got his just dues on Mt. Rushmore. I thank God that he was foresighted enough to create the first national park.

I had a picture of me taken on this very same spot 42 years ago. I´ll look for it. Must be buried somewhere ! I was a graduate student at Pitt!
