Because of the drought, we have not been mowing the lawn. This morning I found a group of these flowers growing in the back yard...and quickly took pictures, before the dogs trample the plants to bits. They are growing out from what looks like a longish vine type stem with arrow-shaped leaves.
We're in eastern North Dakota, and it appears that they're most likely a morning-glory variety.
