Shaw arranged the community so that no house faced the industry. He even built berms to hide some of it. His concept included open vistas. But the plant and high tension wires and railroad tracks at the end of Oak Avenue in no way resembles a 'vista'. I plan on doing research regarding Marktown's health statistics. I am certain the constant exposure exacted a price.
