Teach me the way, O lord; I will walk in thy truth...Psalms 86:11

I shot this picture of my husband last evening walking through a trail in our woods ..We have been power walking twice a day since July 9th and have stepped it up now from one mile to two miles a day...

"The Way" is a movie we have not seen yet, but was lucky to find the DVD on the library rack this afternoon and it sounds good.. Here is a link below that gives description of the movie.

Here is another link from a Catholic World Report on the movie:

An update: we did watch the movie and it was interesting...I especially loved the scenery
which was very beautiful..My husband has been using a walking stick on the rough grounds
that we walk on and was pleasantly surprised to see how popular walking sticks were in the film that we had never seen until tonight.

So creative and well done! Glad you two are enjoying the walks. Most of my walks are on the boring old treadmill.

The movie sounds like a good one, with a great cast to boot! This image complements the title perfectly.. a lovely capture and an excellent entry.

I love walks in the much better than walks along city streets. I'm delighted to see that you are keeping up your daily walks, and have increased your distance to two miles. I'm sure both of you are feeling better!! Excellent capture!

Thank you all for the nice comments and response...I appreciate that my husband is supportive of our decision together to go on these hikes and to change our diet ...That really helps to reach our goal...The walking is rough going through the woods where there are holes and dips in the ground and stubble's sticking up from weeds that were mowed. The first section where we walk through the woods is a path through the spruce trees where we have to dodge some of the prickly branches that reach out...But I have come this far and I am not giving up..

Excellent image! It is great to see that you will not give up on your goal, and it is nice that you have the support of your husband. Good for you both!
