In 1992, I was asked by the United Church of Canada to produce a photo essay about street youth for display at a major conference it was hosting. I spent 3 weeks working on the project, mainly at night and the early hours of the morning.
In my 'Photojournalism' collection.
In the Street Youth...Their Story! photo essay.

I see dismay and resolution. The name on the bag is genius...but makes me wonder what it contains--things he bought at a trendy store named Panhandler, or his worldly possessions in a bag with an apropos name. An excellent finale!!
