I woke up early every morning I stayed in Maine and was always lucky enough to see loons. As they got more comfortable with me, I was able to get closer and closer without disturbing them. These two were a set of parents that were teaching their baby to dive for food.

    Beautiful capture. They mate for life ... we have a lone male that hangs out in our cove and I feel for him.
