I turned around after shooting pictures of flowers this morning to quickly capture this scenario taking place with the Eastern Chipmunks..
One was sneaking up the post where the other guy was eating and that is a no no in the chipmunk world. The sneaky one got knocked down the post to his feet in short time..This is the first time I have ever captured two chipmunks together...They are very solitary creatures as a rule and they like to eat by themselves without being disturbed...The guy that got knocked down to his feet later hid in the weeds to pout. I think he had his feelings hurt. Tough to be a chipmunk:)
