A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: wheresoever it turneth it, prospereth...Proverbs 17: 8
Marigolds grow strong
Next to an iron wheel
Of the old road grader.
They both prosper long...
What could be greater,
When their gifts are real.
Poetry by me, AJP
Marigolds don't require a lot of care and thankfully they are keepers...They bloom a long time. We just have a few Zinnias growing by the road grader this year as the wild turkeys dusted themselves off on them and while they were doing that they killed off several of the flowers. I never saw the Zinnias as beautiful as they were last year. I am glad the Marigolds are doing well again this year...

Beautiful shot, and a perfect comp. We have to plant them each year as they do not survive our winters.

Thank all you for your comments...We keep the seeds from the flower heads and plant
them each year also as they don't survive our winters either...When they bloom they last for
quite awhile until the end of October.. -
