Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

Taken In San Francisco.....the people I was with didn't have any idea where this was taken when I showed it to them....they walked right past him! .....sad.

That IS sad. When I was in San Francisco 19 years ago, I saw a lot of homeless people on the street as well, including a lot of veterans. I was surprised by it. Since I was visiting, I usually ate in restaurants, and always had any leftovers packed to go so that I could give them to someone in the streets who needed to eat.
