Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: Cause me to know
the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee...Psalms 143: 8
I had just turned 53 years old, the day I did this self portrait to remember my
birthday that year..I was kneeling by the morning glories that were in full bloom.
(Our morning glories haven't begun to bloom yet this year.) I thought at that time I
was beginning to be an old geezer and had better do this self portrait before I got
any older... The years fly by too rapidly. It is hard to believe, but I will be 69 in
less than two weeks.
You can see my hand partly hidden behind my foot squeezing the remote control
bulb that was attached by a cord to my FE2 Nikon Film camera on a tripod. The white western blouse I was wearing with the fringes on the sleeves and neckline, I had just bought at the State Fair that year and I loved it so much that I wore it out completely.. The fringes finally fell apart and got all knotted up.... but that's what you call a favorite outfit:)
Thank you so much JanElle for the generous spotlight...Very appreciated!
