The morning I moved out of my apartment I woke up early to do one last shoot in my bedroom. Although, only about 6’X11’ in size, I had come to love this room – for the fact that it was so small of a space, yet functioned and contained everything that was personal to me. But as my belongings and photography equipment accumulated, I began to feel that my thoughts, ideas, and where I saw myself was too.
This piece is to reflect that we sometimes need to acknowledge that we can out grow our surroundings, and that we may need to move beyond what we find comfort in, in order to pursue our dreams.
