Talking to the Yankee fan that threw the Gonzalez home run ball back on the field. When you're out in the bleachers in Yankee Stadium and someone on the other team hits a home run the entire crowd begins to chant "Throw it back!" until the person who caught it does just that. Yankee management does not approve of this tradition, but they didn't force this fan to leave the game either.

PS The Red Sox beat the Yankees 6-0 and the chanting is much worse when a Red Sox player hits the home run. Beckett got the win, Sabathia got the loss.

I'm not an avid baseball fan, so I'd never heard of that tradition. This is a wonderful shot....fantastic expressions throughout the photo!

Good shot! We Mariner fans do the same thing. We traveled up to Seattle a few weeks back to watch the Mariners/Yankees game, wanted to see Ichiro put the hurts on the Yankees. Yep, that was the game night that Ichiro was traded TO the Yankees and played against US! Oh well, we saw his first game as a Yankee. We wish him the very best, he's earned a shot at a 'ring'.

I like the movement of the hand gestures...speaking with the hands...and the fellow looking at you who caught you taking a picture is the only one who seemed to notice...
