A small Middle Eastern restaurant in Taos, NM with a beautiful pink tree framing its entrance.
Does anyone know the species of tree?

Beautiful shot of the out of the way Middle Eastern restaurant - Middle Eastern??? In Taos, NM??? It must be new, or else it is well hidden. We have never seen it when we visit Taos. I have no idea of the species of the tree, but it is very pretty : )

NOT crepe myrtles, folks. Wrong foliage and blooms. The blooms were like those of a "smoke" tree in the eastern US.
