The ultra-modern architecture of the USAF Academy Chapel in Colorado Springs.
The structure is a tubular steel frame of 100 identical tetrahedrons, each 75 feet (23 m) long, weighing five tons, and enclosed with clear aluminum panels.

After watching the Blue Angels fly over campus, the architecture reminds me of a stack of jets taking off. Beautiful capture.

Another grand view of the Chapel. I find it wonderfully interesting that the outside can present such a stark and sharp image and inside a much warmer, comforting enviroment. Bravo on the entire series!

One of the prettiest images of this chapel I've ever seen. When I was there in 1960 for the Boy Scout Jamboree, we worshipped there on Sunday. During the years I was stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs ('71-'73), the chapel roof leaked and leaked! I presume it is now fixed. We MUST have a meet-up in CSC/Denver.
