If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).

For lunch we had 1- 1/2 cups of pork stew made in a slow cooker. 133 mg of sodium. .. total for salad. 1/2 slice of homemade toasted bread & stew approximately 310 calories...
Recipe for stew:
4 cups of cut potatoes peeled and chunked
2 cups of diced carrots
2 cups of lean diced pork (boneless pork chop with
fat trimmed off...approximately 8 ounces.
1/2 large onion diced
2 large cloves of garlic diced
1/2 cup of cooking wine
1 tsp of salt substitute
2 tsps. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. ground cumin
fresh basil from garden
1/2 tsp fresh pepper flakes
Also in this stew we added 1 cup of reduced sodium chicken broth but you might like to leave it out and if it isn't flavorful enough add some salt substitute at the table. The reason why we used that amount is that we have a small slow cooker... You can add more to it of different vegetables. This made 8 cups and in each cup is 136 calories..and 89 mg of sodium...My husband prepared this delicious lunch that I shot a picture of for the noon meal today and I made breakfast earlier..Our breakfast is usually the same every morning seen for my "breakfast of champions" entry at the following link..
We are trying to change our life style by eating healthier, plus power walking three miles a day. As of this date since July 9th, my wonderful man has lost 16 pounds and weighs 157 lbs... I have lost 12 lbs and now weigh 133 lbs...My goal is to get down to 120 lbs. We are not starving ourselves to lose weight but we eat a lot of fiber and am never hungry... I am on a 1200 calorie diet...but my husband allows himself more to eat now than I do as he wants to maintain the weight he is now...
I have switched to drinking Hibiscus tea instead of coffee and am finding I don't miss coffee. It is important also to drink between 6 to 8 glasses of water a day.
